A Kayak Demonstration Day was held on the foreshore in Geraldton on Australia Day, this year it was a gold coin donation to the Surf Club to participate.

The award was accepted on her behalf by Trevor and Elizabeth Harding, Ranger Outdoors Kelmscott Franchisees as Debbie was away on holiday.

Well Done to Glen Dicarlo from Ranger Outdoors Bentley who came second in the recent Blackwood River Classic.
The Blackwood River Classic is the longest power dinghy race in the world covering 250km from Bridgetown to Augusta.

The Minister for Fisheries announced changes to recreational fishing management in Western Australia in July 2009. The changes are expected to take into effect in mid October 2009; any existing licences will continue to be valid until they expire. Licences will be available for purchase online at the Department of Fisheries website or from Department of Fisheries’ offices and Australia Post Outlets.
